My Review

now i’m a huge fan of Mr Lucado’s works. and i would say this is not a regular type of inspirational books written by him.
it’s not your typical, must read back to back book in order to get a full understanding of the entire story, this book is meant for you to pick it up as a reference book and as you encounter some of the questions, you can turn back to this book and see the references and answers and insights given by Max Lucdao. All of Max’s answers are backed up with Bible verses to show how he came to each conclusion.

great book to have, as usual. any of lucado’s is always great to add to your collection.

A Conversation with God

A Conversation With God – Alton Gansky

Book Description

A front row seat to a fascinating conversation between God, Jesus, and other biblical characters answering important questions about life and faith.

A Conversation with God allows readers a one-on-one dialogue with God, his son Jesus, and other important men and women from the Bible as they respond to questions and concerns relevant to the Christian faith. The questions, in some cases hard-hitting, cover issues that have troubled believers and seekers since the beginning of time. Each answer is based on Scripture and written with the warmth and intimacy of a Heavenly Father relating to His child.

My Review

I have not read any Alton Gansky’s books before but however this particular one intrigued me the moment i saw it on booksneeze.com.

What would it be like to have questions and answers session with God?

The book is divided into ten sections: God, Bible, The Future, Pain and Suffering, Jesus, Kingdom of God, Heaven and Hell, Humanity, Christian Living, and Today’s World. Many at times i believe, many of us does have questions about our faith and if not, our friends have questions about our faith in God. this book seeks to address some of the most commonly asked questions like why do we suffer? Jesus can we lose our salvation?

i think Alton did a fairly good job by referring the answers back to the bible and helping in our understanding of the questions.

this book will make a great gift to a new believer who seeks to have better understanding to the scriptures.
